This straight razor was used by the character “Bernie Rose” portrayed by actor Albert Brooks in the 2011 motion picture “Drive” starring Ryan Gosling. The Goldedge “Dubl Duck” model razor is attached to a folding mother of pearl handle with gold details.
Bernie used this in the scene when he arrives late at night at “Shannon’s Picture Car Warehouse” and catches “Shannon” (Bryan Cranston) preparing to leave town. After unsuccessfully trying to find the whereabouts of “Driver” (Gosling), Bernie slashes Shannon’s arm with the razor and leaves him to die. The razor was also seen clearly in a subsequent scene when Bernie washes the blood off of it before replacing it in his custom knife display box at home.
