This prop gun was utilized by the character “Agent Smith” portrayed by actor Hugo Weaving in the 2003 motion picture “The Matrix 2: The Matrix Reloaded” starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann Moss, and Laurence Fishburne. This liquid wood prop gun is a replica of a 50 caliber Desert Eagle and was utilized by Mr. Weaving during the filming of his numerous stunt sequences. Mr. Weaving can be seen utilizing this prop in the notable sequence where multiple Agent Smiths attempt to stop “Neo” (Reeves), “Trinity” (Moss), “Morpheus” (Fishburne), and “The Keymaker” (Randall Duk Kim) from escaping through a hallway of “back doors” inside the Matrix.
This item was acquired directly from the weapons coordinator that worked on the last two films of the Matrix Trilogy. The prop is in excellent screen used condition and is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from the weapons coordinator.
