This “bunny” mask was used by singer Katy Perry in the photo shoot for the cover article that appeared in the Mar. 2011 issue of “Elle” magazine. The vintage rabbit fur harlequin style mask has a cream ribbon tie attached and is in very good condition as seen in the article.
Ms. Perry can be seen holding the mask in three separate images from the pictorial, which had a circus / carnival theme and depicted her as a performer in various costumes along with several other “carnie” and “clown” models. The images for the article were taken by Carter Smith, a well-known fashion photographer that has worked with a wide variety of models and celebrity clients and published work in high-end fashion magazines including GQ and Vogue.
The mask was acquired directly from the costume house that supplied it for use on the photo shoot and is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity.
