These boxing shorts were worn by the character "James J. Braddock," portrayed by actor Russell Crowe, in the 2005 motion picture, "Cinderella Man." An original Everlast label is sewn onto the front center of the blue satin boxer shorts.
Mr. Crowe can be seen wearing the shorts during the opening sequence/first fight of the film. In contrast to the cotton shorts he wears later in the film, these shorts were worn in the beginning of the film prior to the Depression Era. "Cinderella Man," starring Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger, and Paul Giamatti, was nominated for three Academy Awards and two Golden Globe awards.
Only two pairs were made for the film production and these shorts are in very good screen worn condition. This item comes accompanied with a certificate of authenticity from the personal costumer of Russell Crowe, who worked on this film.
