This v-neck sweater was worn by the character "Joan Jett," portrayed by actress Kristen Stewart, in the 2010 motion picture, "The Runaways." The black "XOXO" brand v-neck sweater with silver sparkles comes complete with the original costumer's tags listing the character name "Joan" and assorted scene notes and production information.
Ms. Stewart wore this sweater during the scene when the band first arrives in Japan and attend a dinner party. She can also be seen wearing it in promo shots for the band within the film (montage of newspapers and headlines) as well as in various promotional material for the picture.
"The Runaways" was based on the true story of the groundbreaking all-girl rock group produced by Kim Fowley in the 1970's, whose members included Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West, and Cherie Curry. The film was nominated for an MTV Award and Kristen Stewart received a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Movie Actress (Drama) for her performance in the film.
