This shirt and pants pair of pants were worn by the character “Jack Weil” portrayed by legendary actor Robert Redford in Sydney Pollack’s 1990 motion picture epic “Havana” starring Lena Olin and Alan Arkin. Mr. Redford wore the garments in several scenes of the film and notably during a sequence when he changes out of the shirt in his apartment while talking with Roberta “Bobby” Duran (portrayed by Olin).
The outfit consists of a tan long sleeve dress shirt with flap pockets on the front and a pair of brown pleated pants with cuffs. Both garments were custom made for Mr. Redford’s use on the film by Western Costume Company and are complete with the original Western labels sewn inside with the name “Robert Redford” and sizing information and made to order numbers clearly typed. The garments are in very good screen worn condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
