This helmet was worn by the character “Cannonball Taylor,” portrayed by actor Ralph Herforth, in the 2008 live action film, "Speed Racer." The black and gold helmet is constructed of carbon fiber and showcases the “R” logo on the center front for Royalton Industries
Mr. Herforth can be seen wearing this helmet during the Grand Prix, the film’s grand finale race. Speed (Emile Hirsch) enters the Grand Prix against great odds and is pitted against legendary Hall of Fame driver Jack "Cannonball" Taylor.
