This costume change was worn by the character "Jack Bauer" played by actor Kiefer Sutherland in the eighth season of the award winning television series “24”, which ran from 2001 to 2010. The outfit consists of a blue and grey long sleeve collared dress shirt and a pair of Levi’s “Capital E” Hesher boot cut denim jeans.
Mr. Sutherland first appeared wearing this costume in Episode 18 (Day 8: 9:00am – 10:00am). After the tragic sniper shooting of Jack’s girlfriend "Renee Walker" (Annie Wersching) at the end of the previous episode, the heartbroken Bauer ends up at the hospital after unsuccessfully trying to save her from her injuries. As her body is wheeled out of the emergency room a nurse hands him this shirt along with a pair of boots so he can change out of his bloodied garments. He then wore this costume change in the subsequent sequence when he shows up at the hearing of "Sergei Bazhaev" (Jurgen Prochnow) and briefly interrogates him regarding Renee’s killing while at the federal courthouse.
He continued wearing the outfit when he heads to the CTU to interrogate "Dana Walsh" (Katee Sackhoff) before being dismissed by the President and told to get to Ellis Air Force Base for debriefing. At this point he is handed a box of his belongings before getting on an elevator and then appears wearing a different outfit when exiting to the CTU helipad.
The garments are both in very good screen worn condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume supervisor who worked on the series.
