We’re already over halfway through the month of August and currently adding more pieces of exciting entertainment memorabilia to our ever expanding collection of screen used wardrobe and props. Some of our new highlighted items are listed below.

Western fans now have the opportunity to purchase a complete three-piece suit worn by Kevin Costner as legendary gunslinger Wyatt Earp in the epic 1994 film “Wyatt Earp”. This period outfit was worn during the wedding sequence early in the film when Wyatt exchanges vows and marries his sweetheart Urilla in an outdoor ceremony. Detailed information at the link below:

Our Pop Diva collection continues to expand with yet another unique item, a vintage black feather boa that was worn by legendary performer Madonna in a photo pictorial from a 2003 issue of W Magazine. More info and images at link below:

In the category of Television, we have also recently added two wardrobe items worn by Jim Nabors and Vicki Lawrence in a classic musical sequence that appeared on “The Carol Burnett Show”. Other recent additions include screen worn items from the film “The Untouchables”, framed displays of items worn in the cable television series “The Sopranos”, and many more that can be viewed in the “New Items” category of our website.

We are also pleased to announce that we will once again be participating in the upcoming Profiles In History auction to be held this Fall. Select items from our Pop Diva collection will be represented, including new items worn by Christina Aguilera, Fergie, and Beyonce. Also included will be several new items worn by Angelina Jolie in “Gone In 60 Seconds” and “Mr. And Mrs. Smith”, wardrobe worn by the late Heath Ledger in “Lords of Dogtown”, a pair of “Hudsucker Industries” coveralls worn by Nicolas Cage in “Raising Arizona”, and a pair of black leather pants worn by Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s film biopic “The Doors”. July has proven to be another busy month at The Golden Closet, and our collection of screen worn memorabilia continues to grow. Apart from the live firing Sopranos weapons we acquired (which can be viewed in the New Items section of our website), we have also added numerous other acquisitions. Some highlights are listed below:

Sports fans who also have an interest in movie memorabilia may be interested in obtaining a truly unique addition to their collection: A pair of combat boots worn by the legendary basketball player Shaquille O’ Neil in his portrayal of DC comics superhero “Steel” (from the film of the same name). Al Pacino fans should take a look at another rare piece of film history: A prop newspaper seen in the film “Dick Tracy” starring Madonna and Warren Beatty. The paper features a large frontpage photo of Mr. Pacino’s character “Big Boy Caprice” and is personally signed by Al Pacino. Details and images at the link below:
