This custom skirt suit was worn by the character “Elizabeth Burns” portrayed by legendary actress Lauren Bacall in the 1954 motion picture “Woman’s World”. The garments were created for Ms. Bacall’s use by famed entertainment costume designer Charles LeMaire, and the interior of the outfit has the original custom tailoring label sewn inside with “L. Bacall” handwritten in slightly faded ink.
